Get Ready For Fall Rush 2006!

Prospective Rushees,

We, the brothers of Chi Psi Fraternity would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on your excellent choice to attend Texas Tech University. The years that lie ahead of you during your time at Texas Tech will be some of the best of your life. Texas Tech not only offers its students a great education, but also the opportunity to make new lifelong friends. Within our great educational system here at Tech is the Greek Fraternity system that can not only enhance your time as a student, but also the years after you leave college.

Chi Psi, since its origination at Union College in 1841, is a fraternity founded on the importance of being Gentlemen and we strive to maintain that exemplary status among the Greek system here at Texas Tech. We understand that making a choice in which fraternity to pledge can be a difficult one to make and through the process of Rush we hope to find distinguished Gentlemen that we feel would make great additions to our fraternal bond. We would like the opportunity to meet you and would be honored to have you during the events of Rush.

Between now and the start of the fall semester, we will be hosting many great events, catered to help you meet our members. This summer we are hosting an event in the Dallas Ft. Worth area and for more information on this, please contact our Rush Chairman. We'd like to encourage anyone who is interested in rush to please come out and have a good time. Then of course there's the week of Formal Rush where all the festivities really kick off with events like parties, barbeques, rush activities and more!

We hope you see in Chi Psi what we saw when we all joined a short time ago: a close-knit brotherhood of guys that enjoy hanging out together to build life-lasting friendships; an opportunity to get involved in Alpha and campus-wide activities including, but not limited to The Interfraternity Council and student government; a chance to be part of an organization in which you will have a significant impact on its growth and everyday activities of its members. And once a Chi Psi, always a Chi Psi. Being a member does not end after you graduate. As an alumnus you can look forward to continued contact with the brothers through our Alumni Corporation. Our Alumni are heavily involved in the Alpha's activities and events and actively participate in many of our social gatherings.

Be sure to check our events page for an updated list of upcoming activities in the coming months. If you're still curious about fraternity life or Chi Psi and what rushing entails, please continue reading our website for more information. Also be sure to fill out our rush form below. Doing so will ensure that we will be able to contact you when the Rush activities begin and keep in contact with you about all our parties. Please do not hesitate to contact any of us by e-mail or phone should you need further information.

If you have any questions about Greek life, about Chi Psi, or desire travel arrangements to attend our events, we will be more than happy to assist you. We believe you have made a great decision in attending Texas Tech and look forward to meeting you this fall.
